The Anderson Museum of Art (AMOA) announces a collaborative professional development opportunity with the Art Education Association of Indiana, Inc. The event, designed for art educators, offers a unique exploration of the connection between art materials, emotions, and cognition through the Studio Habits of Mind lens.
The event will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. on March 7.
Hannah Richardson, Assistant Professor of Art Education and Pre-Art Therapy, will lead the session alongside Olivia Willard, a local artist and guest instructor at the Anderson Museum of Art. Participants are invited to embark on a sensory immersive journey, unveiling the cosmic tapestry of creativity and mental well-being.
This event is free for all art educators in Eastern Indiana, offering a valuable opportunity for professional growth and networking. The generous sponsorship by Anderson Community Schools enhances the accessibility of this enriching experience.
