The Altrusa Club of Hamilton County is combining a membership drive, fundraiser, and donation drive from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 15 at the Carmel Christian Church parking lot, 463 E. Main St.
Please stop by and purchase frozen food from the Food Florist of Fishers for your future dinners or for gift giving. The money raised by this event will be used by Altrusa of Hamilton County to help serve local agencies that the Club supports, which include Tools for Schools, Prevail, Head Start, Hamilton County Libraries and Veterans.
Please bring donations of new personal care items or gift certificates (with receipt to show the amount of the certificates) in any amount from gas stations, grocery stores, or superstores like Target or Walmart. These will be given to Prevail to enhance the items offered at the annual Christmas Boutique, where clients get to select items that will help them through the holiday season.
Anyone interested in learning more about Altrusa International of Hamilton County, IN, Inc., a volunteer service organization, can get information at the membership table and talk to current members.
