Allen Whitehall Clowes Charitable Foundation grants $20,000 to Carmel Symphony Orchestra

Submitted

The Carmel Symphony Orchestra (CSO) has been notified that it will receive a $20,000 grant from the Allen Whitehall Clowes Charitable Foundation for operational costs for 2025.

These funds will help the symphony better fulfill its mission to provide family-friendly concerts and engage with youth through education and community initiatives to ignite an interest in orchestral music that lasts a lifetime. This grant will bolster CSO’s ability to provide modern symphonic experiences that entertain and improve cultural experiences for the Carmel community and surrounding area.

“We are very excited to receive this funding as we head into our new season,” CSO Board Chair Caleb Bullock said. “As with most non-profits, ticket sales only cover about a fourth of what we need to present our concerts. Grants such as this help us fill those gaps in funding and hopefully encourage others to invest in the CSO as well.”
