Alfred “Wayne” Gould

January 25, 1925 – August 21, 2020

Alfred “Wayne” Gould, 95, Noblesville, passed away on Monday, August 31, 2020 at his home with his wife and daughters by his side. He was born on January 25, 1925 to Arthur and Goldie (Tidd) Gould in Lyons, Ind.

Wayne proudly served his country in the United States Army during WWII. He worked for Firestone Rubber Co. and enjoyed fishing, gardening, and traveling. Wayne was also an avid reader and a member of United Pentecostal Church of Noblesville. He loved supporting his church.

Wayne is survived by his wife of 73 years, Elizabeth A. Gould; brother, Gary R. Gould; sister, Darlene K. Chupp; daughters, Marsha E. (David) Whipple, Amy B. (Daniel) Beck, Jean E. (Gary) Janes and Jane M. (Ronald) Driesens; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Charles R. Gould, Billy E. Gould, Shirley L. Wix, Phyllis A. Nance and Norman L. Gould.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, September 3, 2020 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan St., Noblesville, at the funeral home. The family requests face masks be worn by those attending.

Services will be private.
