Re-enrollment is required for every student who is currently enrolled and plans on continuing to attend Westfield Washington Schools (WWS) for the 2022-23 academic year. This enables the district to maintain current medical and emergency information as well as give students access to field trips, and technology.
It is extremely important that WWS has updated medical information. This information is used if your child needs over-the-counter medication from the school nurse or in case of a medical emergency.
Please use the PowerSchool Parent Portal from a computer to access the Returning Student Registration. If you have not set up an account for your student, please contact your student’s school for instructions and your access ID and access password.
From the Parent Portal:
- Select the student you wish to register along the top
- Select the 2022-23 Returning Student Registration Icon
- Enter the student’s birthdate
- Agree to the terms and conditions
- Click Begin Forms
Please note: Schedules and classroom assignments are from last year (2021-22). New schedules and classroom assignments (2022-23) will be posted after Monday, Aug. 1.

Changes to school lunch program
The free meals program will no longer fund free meals for all students.
The school meals program is funded by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, school corporations across the country have been operating with the use of a federal waiver that allowed them to feed every child for free through the end of this school year.
The use of this waiver will not be available after this school year and corporations will return to the traditional eligibility requirements for free, reduced and paid meals. This means that for 2022-2023, WWS will process free and reduced-price meal benefit applications.
Free and reduced lunch applications for the 2022-23 school year will be available starting July 1. Households are encouraged to apply before the start of the school year to avoid unpaid meal charges.
Students who are not approved for free or reduced-price meal benefits before the start of the school year will be classified as “paid” status, and meal charges may begin to accumulate starting the first day of school. Meal charges accrued before the approval of a meal benefit application will be the responsibility of the household.
For assistance with a free and reduced meal application please contact Stacy Leudke at leudkes@wws.k12.in.us or visit Central Office.
You do NOT need to complete an application if:
- You receive notification that your child(ren) are directly certified.
- You know your household does not qualify for meal benefits. (Please have money in your child’s account on the first day of school.)
