The Advancing Westfield Foundation has announced that applications for grant funding are now open through July 31.
The Advancing Westfield Foundation serves as a conduit for Mayor Scott Willis’s initiatives, including the funds raised from the net proceeds of the Mayor’s Grand Gala to nonprofit organizations within the Westfield community.
The mission of the Advancing Westfield Foundation is to support the efforts of nonprofit partnerships, ensuring sustainable support for a wide range of vital services for youth, adults, seniors, veterans, and disabled community members.
The foundation board includes community members representing various corporate, nonprofit, and community partners. Board members are Eric Douthit, Kristy Murphy, Allison Van Natta, Danyele Easterhaus, Pete Emigh, Mike Rudolph, and Mitch Frazier.
Applications for grant funding will be available through July 31. Grant applications may only be submitted by 501(c)(3) accredited organizations that operate in and/or serve the Westfield community. Grant requests may be made for up to $50,000.
