September 20, 2005 – December 18, 2022
Adam Michael Gordon Johnson, 17, Kokomo, passed away on Sunday morning, December 18, 2022, in Tipton County. Born in Marion County on September 20, 2005, he was the son of Michael Chad Johnson and Nakita Aldridge.
He was a 2022 graduate of Kokomo High School. Adam was an avid gamer who enjoyed coding and server creation. He was also a content creator for the YouTube and Twitch platforms.
Family was a very important part of Adam’s life. He loved reading and telling bedtime stories to his siblings. Whenever there was a need within the family or his circle of friends, Adam was always the first one there to help. Being kind, respectful, and putting others before himself was how he chose to live his life.
Adam’s smile was infectious, and he always loved being the life of the party.
Everyone who knew Adam lost a piece of their heart when he left us. He was a great friend to all and had an amazing impact on everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Adam is survived by his parents, Michael Chad Johnson and Nakita Aldridge; second parents (aunt and uncle), Cody and Elizabeth Petro; maternal grandfather, Gordon Ledbetter; brothers, Tucker Aldridge, Dalton Johnson, Garrett Johnson, all of Windfall; Noah Petro and Jonah Petro, both of Kokomo; sister, Michelle Johnson of Windfall; his feline BFF, Carole Baskin; and his dog, Otis.
