Earlier this month, Main Street Productions and Basile Westfield Playhouse staged Wit, a play where the main character learns to accept help during her fight against cancer. Simply by attending the play, audience members were supporting that fight in the real world. Thanks to commitments from a generous donor as well as this newspaper, $2 per ticket sold, or a total of $748, was given to Ovar’Coming Together, Indiana’s dedicated ovarian cancer nonprofit.
