In this week’s Indiana High School Golf Coaches Association’s rankings, Hamilton County has the top three schools, and two more ranked in the top 15.

Westfield is ranked No. 1, followed by Hamilton Southeastern at No. 2 and Guerin Catholic at No. 3. Carmel holds a No. 10 ranking, while Noblesville is rated No. 13. All five of those schools were in the midst of great competition Friday at Pebble Brook Golf Club for the Hamilton County meet.

But weather intervened, forcing the meet to be postponed due to heavy rains around 7 p.m. It is not known if the meet will be continued at a later date. Five county teams (Carmel, Fishers, Noblesville, Southeastern and Westfield) will be playing a tournament today, the Muncie Invitational at The Players Club. The Shamrocks are also scheduled to send a team to the West Lafayette Invitational this morning at Purdue’s Ackerman-Allen course, with Hamilton Heights also playing there.
