Girls lacrosse: Noblevsille varsity girls win their Senior Night

The Noblesville girls lacrosse team returned to Beaver Materials Field to celebrate its senior players and managers.

First up, the Junior Varsity Gold met the Hamilton Southeastern JV Blue team, with the Noblesville team winning 14-1. Eight different Gold players scored on the evening. Leading the scoring were Brie Hassan and Rachel Hacker, each with a hat trick, three goals. Selby Jackson and Clara Peters had two goals; Lily Kane, Martha Knoll, Riley Hodges, and Hallie Rucker all contributed a goal. On defense, Emerson Leo and Hacker had two forced turnovers while Tegan Riley had three ground balls.

The Miller’s Varsity girls faced Heritage Christian for their Senior Night. The Millers jumped out to a quick lead scoring three goals within the first five minutes of the game. The Millers would go on to maintain the lead the entire game and get a 9-7 victory over the Eagles.

Chloe Barnett led all scorers with a hat trick. Kaelyn Seyfried had two goals while Molly Adams, Natalie Blackburn, Avery Pohlman and Emma Hammond each had one goal. Guinnie Salas, Barnett, Pohlman and Blackburn all recorded an assist.  The Millers also had a strong defensive effort. Lila Julian had two interceptions and the team had 17 forced turnovers on the night with Barnett causing four, Pullman three and Tori Cook and Salas with two each. Noblesville goalkeeper Adi Terry had eight saves on the night.
