January 15, 1963 – March 17, 2023
David Alan Waugh, 60, Tipton, passed away on March 17, 2023, at his home with his family at his side.
He was born on January 15, 1963, in Noblesville to Robert and Phyllis (Hodson) Waugh. He attended Hamilton Heights Schools and graduated from Hamilton Heights High School with the Class of 1982.
He was fondly known in the Jackson Township area as he had worked on the Cicero Street Department for almost 31 years and also was a driver for Pizza Hut.
David enjoyed hunting, fishing, and taking evening drives in the country searching for deer. He also enjoyed camping and had recently purchased a camper. He dearly loved his family and friends and was concerned about them and others before himself. He enjoyed attending his grandkid’s sporting events and large family reunions.
David was a good impressionist, especially of Donald Duck, and he did this the day before he passed away for the “big and little kids.”
In addition to his parents, Robert and Phiyllis Waugh, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Gary Waugh, who was stillborn.
Surviving him are two children, Dacia (Isaiah) Clark and Kason (Katie) Waugh; plus nine grandchildren, Gabe, Tila, Kingston, Owen, Jc, Jaxon, Jarra, Myka, and Piper; and brothers, Robert (Teresa) Waugh and Danny (Mignon) Waugh.
Memorial services will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, March 24, 2023, with a time of visitation from 5 p.m. until the time of the services at Hartley Funeral Home Cicero Chapel, 209 W. Jackson St., Cicero.
