The Carmel girls lacrosse team opened its season Thursday with a 14-0 win over Fishers at Murray Stadium.
Sophie Mock and Breckin Hare both scored three goals for the Greyhounds, and each made one assist. Olivia Slowey added two goals. Pey Henney, Anna Dumke, AnnMarie McGill, Tori Tomalia, Ellie Espey and Elle Tomalia each scored one goal, with Henney, Reese Keetle and Avery Goehl dishing out one assist.

Westfield’s boys team dropped a double overtime game, 7-6 to Heritage Christian.
Alex Dieckmeyer scored three goals, while Noah McCoy, Theo Dager and Lucas Smaagaard all scored one each.
