Local fire fighters to hold ‘Fathead Challenge’ at 4-H Fairgrounds

The Hamilton County Professional Fire Fighters will host the Firefighters’ Fathead Challenge on Saturday, March 4, at the Hamilton County 4-H Fairgrounds Exhibition Center in Noblesville.

Individual tickets are available for $40, which includes food and drink. For a more exclusive experience, VIP tables are available for $800. The VIP tables include special drinks and a special meal. All funds from the event will go toward the families of fire fighters who have children with special needs and extraordinary medical expenses.

WTHR Meteorologist Lindsey Monroe will be the event emcee for the evening. The night will feature various games and activities, including raffle items, pull tabs, 50/50 games, and the famous coin flip game. Earl-B’s Catering Co. will be providing the meal for the event, and beer and wine will be available with a valid ID.

The Firefighters’ Fathead Challenge was started 13 years ago by Retired Lieutenant Dave Bobo and his wife, Michelle. They found a need in the Hamilton County community and created this unique event that has grown into one of the most significant events in Hamilton County each year. Fishers Fire Department Lt. Chad Hiner took over as director five years ago and encourages everyone to sign up soon because tables are limited.

Attendees are encouraged to decorate their tables, bring snacks, and enjoy the night. No outside alcohol will be allowed inside the event. Credit/debit cards and cash will both be accepted. Attendees can check in at 5:30 p.m., with dinner served at 6 p.m. and trivia starting promptly at 7 p.m.

To register for the event, visit the official website, fatheadchallenge.com, until 11:59 p.m. on Friday, March 3.
