Marie L. Rayle Dawson Covey, 86, McCordsville, passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at Majestic Care of McCordsville. She was born on December 25, 1936, to Robert Rayle and Vivia (VanScyoc) Wright in Westfield.

Marie worked as a salesperson for Sears. She attended Restoration Church where she helped with the food pantry. Marie also attended Lakeview Wesleyan Church and loved to sing gospel music.

She is survived by her sons, Jan Dawson and Larry Dawson; brothers, Robert Rayle II and Richard Rayle; sister, Jackie Cook; eight grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Marie was preceded in death by her sons, Gary L. Dawson and Tracy L. Dawson.

Visitation will be held from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, February 18, 2023, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan St., Noblesville.
