You can change the world by horsing around & having fun with Agape

Submitted by Agape

We need your boots in the barn! There’s no better place to begin changing the world than right here in your own community. Fortunately for you, Agape has the perfect opportunity for you to get started.

Agape Therapeutic Riding Resources serves individuals and groups of all ages who have a physical, emotional, social, or cognitive disability by partnering with horses to provide therapeutic riding lessons and equine-assisted learning experiences. This is only possible with the help of people like you. We need a team of volunteers to assist with a variety of tasks ranging from being a horse-handler, side walking during classes, feeding horses to helping with property maintenance and various projects as needed.

No prior horse experience is needed; we will train you on everything you need to know. One time, as well as ongoing weekly and monthly volunteer shifts are available based on your availability.

Learn more and fill out a Volunteer Application by visiting agaperiding.org/volunteer, or contact Libby, Volunteer Coordinator, at (317) 773-7433.

Once your application is received, you will be contacted with information about upcoming Volunteer Orientation dates and next steps.

See you at the barn!
