The Fishers girls basketball team ran its win streak to seven games on Friday, as the Tigers beat Fort Wayne Carroll 51-45 in a make-up game at the Tiger Den.
Fishers led 9-6 after the first quarter, with Alycia Triplett scoring six of those points. The Tigers moved ahead 26-19 by halftime; Ava Carter added six points in the second period. The Chargers cut into Fishers’ lead slightly in the third quarter, but the Tigers stayed in front 39-34; Olivia Smith helped out with eight points. Hailey Smith stepped up in the fourth quarter, scoring six points.
In all, nine players scored for Fishers. Olivia Smith led with 14 points, while Triplett and Hailey Smith both had eight points.
The Tigers are 13-2 and host Pike on Tuesday.
