The Fishers swim teams competed in the North Central Panther Invitational on Wednesday.
The Tigers boys team ran away with its meet, scoring 958 points for the team trophy. Fishers won six events, including a double victory for Jonny Hines in the 200 and 500 freestyle events. Jack Roby won diving, Connor Carlile was first in the 100 free, Daniel Bennett paced the breaststroke, and the team of Carlile, Bennett, Victor Herbert and Keaton Chop won the medley relay.
In the girls meet, the Tigers finished second to Fort Wayne Carroll. The Chargers totaled 885 points to Fishers’ 789.5 points.
The Tigers girls won eight events, starting with double wins for Jo Jo Ramey in the 200 free and the backstroke, and Avery Stein in the individual medley and breaststroke. Addison Carlile won the 50 free and Kate Mouser paced the 500 free. All four swimmers teamed up to win the medley relay, while Carlile, Claire Francis, Emma Schwertfeger and Stein were the winners for the 200 free relay.
