This was a time for the elected officials and nonprofits in Hamilton County to network and celebrate the outstanding leadership and collaboration efforts over the past year. Hamilton County trustees, local nonprofits and elected officials across the county were in attendance for this new event.

“With the increased challenges we have faced over the past couple years, the trustees wanted to honor all the hard work and dedication of our amazing nonprofit partners,” said Danielle Carey Tolan, HCTA President and Westfield Washington Township Trustee. “As needs continue to grow, we are extremely grateful for these strong partnerships which help the residents of our community overcome so many challenges each year.”

There were two awards presented at the event. Family Promise of Hamilton County was presented with the Partners in Service Award for its outstanding work in providing financial literacy classes for recipients of Emergency Rental Assistance funding.

Additionally, Hamilton County Councilman Steve Nation was given the Lifetime Servant-Leader Award for his leadership within the county and his support of the Hamilton County Trustees and their programs and services.
