Southeastern girls enjoy comfortable victory on Senior Night

The Hamilton Southeastern girls won their Senior Night game in solid fashion Tuesday, beating Pendleton Heights 71-49.
The Class 4A No. 3 Royals outscored the Arabians in all four quarters. Southeastern led 15-10 after one period and 34-22 at halftime, then poured in another 20 points in the third quarter. Four HSE players reached double figures.
Riley Makalusky led the scoring with 19 points, followed by Maya Makalusky with 16 points. Lauren Stewart and Kennedy Holman both added 11 points.
Riley Makalusky collected seven rebounds, with Maya Makalusky and Holman both pulling five. Olivia Brown had six assists and five steals, while Holman contributed five assists and five steals. Teegan Acres dished out four assists.
“Great night to honor our six seniors,” said Southeastern coach Brian Satterfield.
The Royals stay unbeaten at 10-0 and play a Hoosier Crossroads Conference game Friday at Avon.
