Carmel High School Planetarium to hold family-friendly “Season of Light” event

Join the Carmel High School Planetarium Club for “Season of Light,” a delightful multimedia presentation celebrating the world’s most endearing holiday customs, including candy canes, candles, Yule logs, holly wreathes, gift giving, and merrymaking.

Learn about the changing seasons, winter constellations, star phenomena, and much more. “Season of Light” is suitable for audiences of all ages, so bring the entire family to this multicultural holiday planetarium event.

The presentation will take place at 7 p.m. and again at 8 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 9 in the Carmel High School Planetarium. (Running time: 40 minutes.) Enter through the main entrance of the school on Main Street, walk past the Dale Graham Auditorium, and turn right. Doors will open 30 minutes before show time. No one will be admitted after the program begins. Children aged 12 years and under should be accompanied by an adult.

Tickets are available in advance at the CHS Bookstore from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on weekdays. Tickets for adults are $5 and $3 for children, senior citizens, and CHS students.
