Conner Prairie to hold 5K/10K run for arthritis research

The 2022 Jingle Bell Run returns to bring holiday cheer to Indianapolis on Dec. 10 with the goal of raising $79,500 this year. This family-friendly, holiday-themed 5K and 10K run at Conner Prairie encourages participants to dress in festive costumes and get moving to raise awareness and funds to cure America’s No. 1 cause of disability.

Taking place in more than 100 cities nationwide, the Arthritis Foundation’s Jingle Bell Run benefits more than 60 million Americans (one in four adults), including 300,000 children (one in every 250), living with arthritis every day. From funding cutting-edge research for new treatments and ultimately a cure, to advocating for health care access, the Arthritis Foundation helps people living with arthritis score everyday victories, one step at a time.

“Jingle Bell Run is a 35-year tradition in Indianapolis and we’re looking forward to bringing extra holiday cheer to town this year,” said Sandra Messner, Executive Director of the Arthritis Foundation Indiana. “Our honorees and volunteers are what make Jingle Bell Run successful and memorable every year, and this year we’re humbled to honor Arthritis Warriors to raise awareness and funds for our cause.”
