Darren Peterson, 2021 Noblesville Common Council President and downtown Noblesville business owner, has announced his intent to run for re-election to the Noblesville Common Council. He will run again as an At-Large candidate, representing the entire city, in the 2023 municipal election primary.

For the last three years, Peterson has led economic development initiatives in Noblesville and navigated the more than $1 billion in new private investment in the city, all while working hard to preserve the history and character of Noblesville.

Peterson also serves on the Plan Commission, Architectural Review Board, Council Finance Committee, and Downtown District Committee.

“It’s an exciting time for Noblesville,” Peterson said. “We have a lot of momentum, and I’m looking forward to the exciting opportunities and the continued investment in our community, while maintaining and preserving our authentic Downtown.”

Peterson is President of Peterson Architecture, a full service architectural and planning firm that was founded in downtown Noblesville over 25 years ago. Locally, Peterson has been the board President of Nickel Plate Arts for the last five years and current board President of Keep Noblesville Beautiful.
