Janus welcomes two new team members, makes two promotions

Career Coach

Lori Qadir has recently joined the Janus Developmental Services team, as a Career Coach with the Pre-ETS (pre-employment training services) program in Community Employment.

Qadir will provide career development support to young people at Westfield, Carmel, Noblesville, and Shortridge high schools, as well as the Indiana School for the Deaf. Students receive instruction in all aspects of career development, such as soft skill development, resume building, interviewing, and post-secondary exploration. Previously, she worked as a Pre-ETS Career Coach with Tangram in Indianapolis.

Recreational Therapist

Elizabeth Wiley recently joined Janus as Recreational Therapist for services. Recreational Therapy uses activities as interventions to address assessed needs of individuals as a means to psychological, physical, social, and/or emotional health, recovery, and well-being. Janus offers this new service to give clients another way to set goals of growth in a supportive environment, engage with the community, and increase quality of life through recreation.

Two promotions

Platz

Ben Platz has been promoted to new Manager of Transportation. Ben has been with Janus for over a year and has been in the scheduling office.

Brennan Greer is now the Community Employment Manager. He has been with Janus for over two years working in the Community Employment Office.
