Vehicle to make four new monthly visits to residents

The Westfield Washington Public Library’s (WWPL) new outreach vehicle is ready to hit the road. The outreach vehicle already delivers books to residents at assisted and senior living facilities and makes stops at area daycares; but will now add four public stops to its monthly calendar.

The following stops are scheduled to start in November:

  • North Glen Village (11:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.) – First Friday of the month
  • Open Doors Food Pantry (2:45 to 3:15 p.m.) – Second Friday of the month
  • Casey Acres Apartments (10:30 to 11 a.m.) – Third Wednesday of the month
  • Heart and Soul Clinic (5 to 6 p.m.) – Third Wednesday of the month

“We’re looking forward to reaching even more patrons and promoting an environment of curiosity and a love of reading regardless of location,” WWPL Executive Director Sheryl Sollars said. “We encourage everyone in these neighborhoods to stop by, check out a book, and get a library card.”

More dates and locations may be added to the outreach vehicle’s schedule if there is enough interest.
