In a Monday all-county girls soccer game, Class 3A No. 3 Carmel beat 3A No. 14Westfield 1-0 at the Shamrocks’ field.

Carmel finished its regular season at 12-2-2, while Westfield is 6-5-4. The Shamrocks host Avon tonight in their Hoosier Crossroads Conference and regular-season finales.

Carmel’s boys team, ranked No. 1 in 3A, cruised past Harrison 4-0 on Tuesday.
“It was a strong finish to the regular season. I was happy with our patience in possession,” said Greyhounds coach Shane Schmidt. “I thought our probing passes and changing of the point of attack, began to wear them down. Our team shape and organization defensively was solid.”
Carmel finished its regular season 11-2-3 and hosts Zionsville next Tuesday in the first round of Sectional 10.

Noblesville’s boys team picked up an HCC win Tuesday at Franklin Central, beating the Flashes 4-1.
Sammy Holland scored the 3A No. 7 Millers’ first goal in the 10th minute, with Noah Bernot making the assist. Holland added another goal three minutes later. Franklin Central scored its goal minutes later, but Noblesville responded when Noah Adams scored, off a cross by Bernot, to make the halftime score 3-1.
Bernot scored the Millers’ fourth goal in the second half, with Holland making the assist. Sophomores Alex Pursch, Owen Ott and Korey Klimek all made their varsity debuts.
Noblesville is 3-2-1 in the conference and 9-3-3 overall. The Millers host 3A No. 10 Brownsburg Thursday for their HCC and regular-season finales.

Guerin Catholic’s boys cruised to a 6-0 win over Lafayette Central Catholic on Tuesday.
The Golden Eagles are 3-8-1 and host Zionsville on Thursday.

University’s boys sailed past Beech Grove 7-0 on Tuesday.
Remy Lance scored three goals for the 1A No. 3 Trailblazers, with Corbin Smith adding two goals. Chris Millen and Constantine Stefanidis each put in goal. Smith made two assists, with Lance, Millen and Sam Rickett all handing out one assist.
University is 11-2-2 and plays its Senior Night game Thursday against the Indiana Northwest Homeschool Warriors.

The Fishers boys played to a 1-1 tie with Greenfield-Central on Tuesday.
Will Sandlon scored the 3A No. 3 Tigers’ goal, with Kyle Clayton making the assist.
Fishers is 10-2-3 and hosts Sectional 8 this season, playing Muncie Central Monday in a first-round game.
