Guerin Catholic fell to Roncalli 49-10 Friday in a Circle City Conference game at the Royals’ field.
Roncalli led 14-0 after the first quarter and added another touchdown to start the second period. The Golden Eagles got on the board when Malcolm Houze sent a 50-yard touchdown throw to Will Fremion. Evan Guenthner kicked the extra point.
But the Royals continued to roll, scoring three more touchdowns. Guenthner kicked a field goal to finish the half, after which Roncalli led 42-10.
Houze completed 15 of 33 pass attempts for 184 yards. Jack Cherry and Harrison Miller both made five receptions.
Guerin Catholic is 0-2 in the conference and 3-2 overall. The Golden Eagles travel to Bishop Chatard next Friday to finish up CCC play.
