John Larry Kincade, 85, Cicero, passed away on August 26, 2022, at Riverview Health in Noblesville.
He was born on May 18, 1937, in Fortville to Clarence and Martha (Girt) Kincade. He attended Fortville Schools and graduated from Fortville High school, Class of 1955.
Larry, as he was fondly known, had worked over 25 years at Hamilton County Farm Bureau Co-op in Noblesville. His major jobs were fertilizer applications and taking in and shipping grain. After retiring from farm related work, he worked at Hamilton Southeastern Schools and Hamilton Heights Schools.
Larry was a member of United Family Wesleyan Church in Cicero and the Lions Club in Fishers. He enjoyed bowling, camping and collecting and restoring old tractors. He also was a member and attendee of the American Threshers & Antique Show.
He married the love of his life, Lulabelle (Grimes) Kincade, on August 16, 1957, and they were blessed with a daughter, Lou Ann (Fredrick) Berndt of Tipton, and three sons, John Eric Kincade of Perkinsville, Ind., David Michael (Teresa) Kincade and Robert Andrew (Michelle) Kincade, both of Tipton.
Also surviving is a sister, Mary Lee Clark of Warren, Ind.; grandchildren, Amber, Brandon, Katie, Jessica, Maggie, and Christopher; seven great-grandchildren; plus several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mae Louise Mills.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at Hartley Funeral Home Cicero Chapel, 209 W. Jackson St., Cicero, with burial to follow at Carey Cemetery north of Noblesville. A time of visitation will be from noon until time of the services.
