U.S. Rep. Victoria Spartz (R-Ind.-05) announced Tuesday the names of six outstanding nominees from Indiana’s Fifth Congressional District who were appointed and have accepted to attend the U.S. Air Force Academy, the U.S. Naval Academy and West Point.
“It’s critical that our military remains the best trained, best equipped, and most importantly, the best lead military force in the world,” Rep. Spartz said. “I know these outstanding nominees will represent Indiana, and our nation well.”
Every applicant was interviewed and then rigorously evaluated by the nomination committee on a variety of factors including academic and athletic achievements, extra-curricular activities, character, and motivation.
Interested high school students residing in Indiana’s Fifth Congressional District can apply for upcoming class nominations at this link and submit their applications no later than Oct. 14, 2022.
