On Tuesday evening, Ben Orr announced he is running for Hamilton Southeastern school board.

Orr kicked off his campaign with a sizable event at the Hawthorns Country Club. He is running for the 4th District board seat.
With two children enrolled in the district, Orr says he has had the opportunity to see first-hand how administrative policies are negatively impacting HSE teachers and HSE children. Orr said he believes the core mission of the K-12 education system is to prepare children academically for their choice of either immediate entry into the workforce or to pursue a higher degree in a field of their choosing.
