Hamilton County Democrats to hold first ‘Night for the Blues’ party fundraiser

The Hamilton County Democratic Party will play host to its first fundraiser of the year, designed to celebrate the winners of the recent primary election, engage citizens, and galvanize voters.

The evening of Friday, May 13 will feature music, dinner and dancing. Cocktail hour starts at 6:30 p.m. at the Wellington Banquet Center, 9775 North by Northeast Blvd., Fishers. Dinner will be served at 7:30 p.m.

Special guests include keynote speaker, author and columnist Danielle Morris Wilson. Attendees will also hear from a variety of elected officials and Democratic candidates for office.

“There are so many Democrats in Hamilton County who take comfort in knowing they’re not alone,” Fundraising Committee Co-Chair Diane Moore said. “We hope this event will serve as the family dinner where you can openly talk about the issues that matter to you, because, in Hamilton County, we are family.”

Tickets are sold out for the general public, but event sponsors are welcome.

  1. I didn’t know that Hamilton County had a Democratic party. Thought I was all alone.
