Guerin Catholic swept both the boys and the girls meet at the annual Hamilton Heights Big Orange meet, which took place Saturday morning.
The Golden Eagles boys team won by scoring 110 points, and picked up an individual event win from Ben Grissom in the 800 run. Guerin Catholic also had six runner-up finishes, helping them to get enough team points to win comfortably over runner-up Maconaquah, which scored 93 points.
The Huskies boys placed third, winning five events. Colin Wilson dominated both the shot put and discus, with Peyton McQuinn getting first in the pole vault. Daniel Collier won the 100 dash and Heights was first in the 4×100 relay.
The Golden Eagles scored 105 points to win, picking up four event wins as well. Emma Bock took first in the 100 dash and long jump, Maris Bulger won the discus and GC’s 4×100 relay team placed first.
Hamilton Heights finished fourth with 79.33 points. Camryn Runner won the 400 dash, and the Huskies picked up a victory in the 4×100 relay.
