Huskies drop tough game to Tri-West

Hamilton Heights dropped a tough home finale to Tri-West on Saturday, falling 52-50.
The Huskies led 21-13 after the first quarter, but the Bruins slowly chipped away at Heights’ lead after that. The Huskies were still up 31-24 at halftime and 42-38 after three quarters, before Tri-West outscored them 14-8 in the fourth.
Luke Carroll scored 17 points, collected five rebounds and blocked two shots. Dean Mason threw in three 3-pointers on his way to 11 points, while Evan Williamson had three 3s for nine points. Isaac Tuma added nine points and Cooper Vondersaar handed out four assists.
Heights is 10-10 and plays its regular-season finale Wednesday at Harrison.
