‘Hawks drop HHC finale to No. 7 Carroll

Sheridan dropped its final Hoosier Heartland Conference game of the season on Friday, falling to Carroll 66-25 at Larry Hobbs Hall.
The Class 2A No. 7 Cougars outscored the Blackhawks in each quarter, leading 21-7 after the first period and 33-7 at halftime. Sheridan scored 11 points in the third quarter, all from Ethan Moistner, who made three 3-pointers during that period.
Moistner finished the game with 14 points. Caleb Wright added five points, including one 3-pointer.
Sheridan completed its conference schedule with a 1-7 record and is 4-14 overall. The Blackhawks host Lapel on Tuesday.
