The Carmel girls basketball team cruised to a 48-24 win at Center Grove on Friday.
The Greyhounds led 13-10 after one quarter and 26-15 at halftime. Carmel then pulled away even further in the third period, outscoring the Trojans 15-2 for a 41-17 lead.
Emily Roper led the Greyhounds’ scoring with 11 points and also made four steals. Mackenzie Thomas collected seven rebounds, while Laura Valiente handed out five assists.
Carmel is 9-6 and hosts Fort Wayne South Side this afternoon.
