Rosemary McIntyre

January 6, 1943 – January 5, 2022

Rosemary McIntyre, 78, McCordsville, Ind., passed away on Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at IU Health Saxony in Fishers after an extended battle with cancer. She was born on January 6, 1943, to Ernest and Margaret (Cordle) Walters in Ashland, Ky.

Rosemary was a member of Mead Station Church of God in Ashland. She had a strong faith and loved reading her Bible. Rosemary enjoyed working crossword puzzles, gardening, and reading. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and being with her grandchildren.

Rosemary is survived by her husband of 60 years, John McIntyre; daughters, Stephanie (Chad) Covey and Tammy (Dan) Wyse; grandchildren, Chase (Tesslla) Covey, Collin Covey, Cameron Wyse, Sam Wyse, Lance Wyse, and Evan Wyse; great-grandchildren, Kaylee Covey, Emilia Covey, and Connor Covey; brother, Gary (Pat) Walters; sister-in-law, Tammi Walters; as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Ernie Walters.

Private family services will be held.
