Carmel swept an all-county dual meet with Hamilton Southeastern Monday at the Greyhounds’ aquatic center.
In the girls meet, Carmel won 116-70, with victories in 10 of the 12 events. Winners for the ‘Hounds were Ashlea Swingewood (200 freestyle), Lexie Ward (individual medley), Hayley Reed (butterfly), Lynsey Bowen (100 free), Kayla Barr (500 free, Alex Shackell (backstroke), Meghan Christman (breaststroke) and all three relays. The Royals got victories from Ash Saple in the 50 free and Hannah Justice in diving.
Carmel won the boys meet 123-62, also taking 10 of the 12 events. Gregg Enoch was a double winner in the IM and 100 free. Other Greyhounds winners were Brandon Malicki (200 free), Leo Han (50 free), Aaron Shackell (butterfly), Michael Gorey (500 free), Chris Holmes (backstroke), and all three relays. Southeastern’s wins came from Gavin Tucker in diving and Matt Truxall in the breaststroke.
