Restaurant celebrates grand opening by giving $25K to two local nonprofits
Portillo’s, the restaurant brand known for its menu of Chicago-style favorites, recently celebrated the grand opening of its newest Indiana restaurant, located at 87 E. State Road 32 at the entrance to Grand Park Sports Complex.
During the grand opening, Portillo’s presented its charity partners, Open Doors and Westfield Education Foundation, with checks for the funds raised during the brand’s Sneak Peek training meals on Nov. 1 and 2. In total, Portillo’s presented more than $25,000 to these local non-profit organizations.
The new 7,800 square-foot restaurant features double drive-thru lanes as well as a large covered outdoor patio and the brand’s first-ever beer garden. The interior features a diner theme, with an ode to rock ‘n’ roll with an electric guitar ceiling installation.
