Hamilton County officials invite you to celebrate the completion of the West 146th Street corridor improvements.

At 9:30 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 11, a ribbon cutting ceremony will commemorate the completion of Phase 3 and Phase 4 of construction on West 146th Street. The ceremony will take place on the south side of the bridge deck on 146th Street over Little Eagle Creek, just west of Little Eagle Creek Avenue. Please park at Union Elementary School just to the west of the Hamilton/Boone county line, and a shuttle bus will provide transportation to the ceremony site.

Hamilton County began to expand 146th Street from a two-lane roadway to a four-lane roadway with a center median in 1998. For the past 23 years, this expansion has been continuing improvements both to the east to Interstate 69 and now to the west to the Hamilton/Boone county line.

Phase 3 and Phase 4 have recently been completed (from Towne Road to the county line) and this marks the completion of 16.5 miles of expansion of 146th Street.
