Two more musical guests added to ISO’s Kroger Symphony on the Prairie 2021 season

The summer just got a little more fun as Big Bad Voodoo Daddy and the Nauti Yachtys featuring Josh Kaufman have been added to the 2021 season of Kroger Symphony on the Prairie. Tickets for these shows went on sale Thursday.

Big Bad Voodoo Daddy is scheduled for July 23 and 24. The group is a perennial favorite of Kroger Symphony on the Prairie audiences; the 2021 show will mark their seventh appearance. Together for over 27 years, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy continues its decades-long mission to celebrate and revitalize jazz and swing music – America’s original musical art form – and bring joy to audiences around the world.

On Aug. 13, the Nauti Yachtys featuring Josh Kaufman are guaranteed to get audiences in the mood to set sail back to the 1980s for classics from legends like Michael McDonald, Hall & Oates, Gerry Rafferty, Christopher Cross, Jackson Browne, Little River Band, Ambrosia and more. They will be joined by Josh Kaufman, the 2014 winner of Season 6 of The Voice, whose music has been described as a mash-up of pop, rock, folk, and jazz with an underlying soul base.

Gates for both shows open at 6 p.m. and concerts begin at 8 each evening. The Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, in partnership with Conner Prairie, is in high gear in preparation for the return of this year’s summer series, which begins June 25.

Visit the ISO’s Symphony on the Prairie website for available reserved seating. For more information on any Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra indoor or outdoor presentations, call the Hilbert Circle Theatre Box Office at (317) 639-4300 or online at IndianapolisSymphony.org.
