In a Monday battle of ranked Hamilton County boys tennis teams, No. 6 Guerin Catholic edged out No. 22 Hamilton Southeastern 3-2.
The Golden Eagles won at No. 1 doubles and No. 1 singles to take a 2-0 lead, then the Royals’ Otto Lutz took the No. 3 singles match. Cole Metzger clinched the match for Guerin by winning at No. 2 singles.
The Golden Eagles dropped a Tuesday match to Fishers, the No. 15 team in the state, 3-2.
