Centier Bank recently presented a $2,000 community donation to the Good Samaritan Network of Hamilton County, a nonprofit organization which serves residents across the county.
Organized nearly 16 years ago, the network evolved from a group of programs and services into a collaborative group of non-profits located in Hamilton County. One primary objective of the network, which serves as the umbrella organization, is its effort to assess the true needs of clients and assist them with county-wide support services.
Linda Risch, Centier Bank branch manager, said Centier’s donation will help the Good Samaritan Network deliver food, shelter, financial assistance, education, transportation, and more services to those in need.
“Our community is vibrant and tight knit, and therefore, we need to come together and help those in need as best we can,” Risch said. “The Good Samaritan Network works with many churches, schools, hospitals, and food shelters to help provide necessary services to the under-served.”
Nancy Chance, Founder and Executive Director of the Good Samaritan Network, said donations like this helps meet the needs of those whose personal circumstances require crisis intervention, emergency services, or have left them without basic needs.
“This donation will surely impact those in need, and we are grateful to Centier for their generosity,” Chance said. “We believe that working together and building a strong network is critical to the survival of all nonprofit organizations and stimulates a sense of hope without the community.”
