Fern Braswell Fulks, 87, Noblesville, passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at her home with her family by her side. She was born on December 3, 1933 to Clyde and Ruth (York) Braswell in Albany, Ky.
Fern graduated from Albany High School in 1951 and continued on to business school at Louisville Business School. After college she came to Indiana and worked for RCA Victor for 12 years. In the 1970s, Fern worked for Noblesville Credit Union. She was a member of the Thrifty Thirty Niners Homemakers Club for 50 years. Toby and Fern spent winters in Winterhaven, Fla., where she enjoyed her many friends and participated in Aqua Aerobics with these friends. They spent summers in Noblesville spending many Saturday nights with friends on the square, with the CIVV Car Club. She loved shopping and spending Saturdays lunching with her daughters. Fern will be missed by all.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Alton (Toby) Fulks; daughters, Sheryl Fulks (Doug) Robinson and Robin Fulks Proctor; granddaughter, Morgan Nicole Proctor; and step-grandchildren, Abby Schmeltekop and Zach Robinson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Clyde (Junior) Braswell and an infant sister who died at birth.
Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan St., Noblesville. Services will be held at 1 p.m., with Rev. Stanley R. Sutton officiating. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
