Ward
Hamilton County Surveyor Kenton C. Ward was recently appointed to two prominent positions within the National Association of Counties (NACo).
Ward was appointed to serve as Vice Chair of the Water Sub-Committee and Chair of the GIS Sub-Committee. The appointments were made by NACo President Gary W. Moore, Judge/Executive, Boone County, Ky.
“It’s an honor to be chosen to lead these two committees,” Ward said. “It’s important to make sure local and county issues are heard at the federal level. Through these appointments and the strength of NACo, Hamilton County has a very prominent seat at the national policy table.”
In addition to his leadership roles, Ward also serves on five other NACo committees.
