Synergize has created its entire business around one mantra: “Relationships Over Everything.”
The group proved its commitment to the phrase once again on Tuesday night, raising over $3,700 for the Indiana Women In Need (I.W.I.N.) Foundation. The charity supports women battling breast cancer in Indiana, relieving financial, emotional and physical burdens.
In addition to the funds, 100 candles with motivational messages were donated by Cari Hahn, owner of Karma Candles and Kinds. Attendees wrote encouraging notes to accompany the candles, which will be given to women currently fighting cancer.

Hahn, who told her story as a breast cancer survivor at the event, started Karma Candles and Kinds in 2016 after finishing treatment. “I wanted to share the healing I was experiencing with anyone who needed it,” she said.
Nancy Shepard, founder of I.W.I.N., also spoke about her motivation behind starting the charity and expressed her gratitude for the support. Synergize founder Arron Stanton even shaved his head as an additional fundraiser for the cause.
Synergize 4:30 Meetups provide a place for business, community and nonprofit leaders who value friendships to create a collective impact. The group chooses a different organization to support each month.
In November, the 4:30 Meetup will benefit the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Community Foundation. The group has grown over the past several months, fostering genuine friendships and providing aid to multiple nonprofits in the area.
