Miller boys win at Huntington North, Royals sweep Hokum Karem

The Noblesville boys cross country team scored a convincing win at the Huntington North Invitational on Saturday.
The Millers totaled 29 points to claim victory, with their first five runners all finishing in the top nine. Travis Hickner led the way for Noblesville by placing second, followed by Andrew Anderson taking fourth.

Hamilton Southeastern swept the girls and boys competitions at its own Hokum Karem on Saturday.
The Royals boys team won with a score of eight points, including the top two finishes. The team of Satterfield/Debois won in a time of 29:33.0, while the team of Patrick/Marquardt was second.
In the girls race, Southeastern scored 10 points for the team championship. The Royals girls also had the race winners, with the duo of Hill/Powers finishing the race in 34:35.4.

The Golden Eagles boys edged out the host Braves 28-29 to win the team title. Guerin Catholic had its front five runners all place in the top nine, with Austin Callahan the individual runner-up.
The GC girls team placed third. Bridget Gallagher was the leader for the Golden Eagles, taking fourth.

Hamilton County had both the girls team and individual champion Saturday at the Jacob Graf Invitational at Logansport.
In the team standings, Fishers ran away with the championship by scoring 32 points, with Lewis Cass a distant second at 106 points. The Tigers had five runners in the top 10, led by Anna Runion taking second.
The individual winner was Hamilton Heights’ Maria Mitchell. The Huskies senior finished the race in 19:08.5, over 30 seconds ahead of second place. Heights placed fourth as a team with 132 points.
The Huskies boys finished eighth in their division with a score of 223 points. Clayton Forrer led Heights by placing 32nd individually.
