The 35th annual Steve Renner Golf Outing for Cancer Research could not be held due to current public safety guidelines and health concerns of members and participants.

However, Community First Bank of Indiana still remained committed to the Noblesville Elks Lodge by presenting a $2,500 check on Thursday in support of the Elks and its dedication to the Noblesville community for cancer research.

The Elks’ State Major Project fights the various dreaded cancer diseases. Indiana has two major cancer research facilities, with one located at Purdue University’s Center for Cancer Research and the other at IU’s Simon Cancer Center. The Noblesville Elks is always at the top of Indiana Elkdom’s fundraising efforts due to the contributions of the Renner Golf Outing.
