On Monday, the City of Westfield and the Westfield Chamber of Commerce launched its community confidence campaign. The effort is designed to unite the community around the slogan “When You’re Ready, We’ll Be Ready.”
“It is up to each individual to decide when it is the right time to venture back out,” said Mayor Andy Cook. “This campaign is designed to reassure to our community that we are dedicated to reopening in the right way.”
“We know the economy will come back, but it is up to the business community to be proactive in taking steps and communicating what it is doing to create a safe environment for those who live, work and visit our community,” said Westfield Chamber President Nick Verhoff.
As part of the campaign, the city launched a video and a marketing toolkit for local businesses and community organizations to use. The video was launched in partnership with the Westfield Washington Schools, the Westfield Washington Township Trustee’s office and many local businesses and churches. The toolkit includes:
- Free signs for local businesses.
- Access to the campaign video.
- Printable posters with the campaign slogan.
- Tools for social media including a Facebook frame, hashtags, graphics and cover photos.
Later this week, as part of the campaign, the city will launch a video focused on Grand Park and youth sports.
