Actors Theatre of Indiana will present its 7th Friday Night Live at 7:30 p.m. this evening, May 1, on a computer or video screen near you.
Enjoy great music with ‘no strings attached’ as special guests from The Indiana Wind Symphony join in another presentation of “Music Heals and Unifies” including special performances by ATI’s Don Farrell, Judy Fitzgerald and Cynthia Collins and Executive Director Jim Reilly.
The Indiana Wind Symphony, founded in 1997, is made up of 65 members, including professional musicians and music educators. This wind ensemble consists of members of the woodwind, brass and percussion families of instruments.
ATI is honored to have special guests Dr. Charles Conrad, Founder and Music Director of the Indiana Wind Symphony, along with Carl Butler and Jeff Goens, two of the symphony’s featured musicians.
Also joining the show is Katy Gentry McCord singing Judy Garland songs. McCord was part of the 2007 ATI performance of “Beyond the Rainbow.”
This is a perfect way to spend your Friday night as everyone continues to practice social distancing … with the help of social media. Hundreds of fans have been joining in each week as ATI continues to find ways to use social media to present a program of music inspired by Broadway and the greatest music of our lives.
It is easy to join by logging onto ATI’s Facebook Live event. Then grab a nice snack and beverage and enjoy the show. Invite your friends, create your own “watch party” and join in the fun.
