Ida Juanita “Gran” Rednour, 82, Arcadia, passed away April 28, 2020 with her family at her side.
She was born September 20, 1937 in Cumberland City, Ky., to Samuel and Opal (Clark) Ayers. She then received her education at Clinton County Schools in Albany, Ky.
She married Edward Lee Rednour on December 24, 1956, and together they raised two sons, Allen (Kathy) Rednour and Jeff (Kris) Rednour; and two daughters, Peggy (Kenny) Geiger and Sherry (Jon) Purkey, all of Cicero.
Additional survivors include her grandchildren, Joshua and Amber Huffman, Jacob, Levi, Katelyn, Taylor and Madelyn Rednour, Jon Paul, Austin and Karlee Purkey; plus great-grandchildren, Willow Huffman, and Ryder, Oakley and Kase Rednour.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a brother, Eugene Ayers; and sisters, Sallie Craig, Sue Johnson, Agnes Craig, Virginia Allen, Vonda Rednour, Kaye Lynch and Ruth Thornsberry.
Due to the restrictions in place because of the coronavirus, there will be a private family time of visitation followed by graveside rites at Arcadia Cemetery. Rev. Mark Knapp will officiate.
