Matthew R. Price, 41, Indianapolis, passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at IU Health University Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born on November 6, 1978 to Thomas and Katherine (Stockdale) Price in Winfield, Ill.

Matt attended Hamilton Southeastern High School and received a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University. He lived with his family in Broad Ripple and worked as a manager for NFI in Lebanon.

Matt was a talented singer and musician and appreciated music in all its forms. He was a natural entertainer throughout his life, bringing joy and laughter to his family and friends with his quick wit and knack for storytelling. He enjoyed cheering on the IU Hoosiers and Indianapolis Colts, with years of fond memories as a Colts season ticket holder.

He had a variety of hobbies, including golf, home improvement projects, and carpentry, but above all, Matt valued time spent with his family. His wife and daughter were the light of his life. Matt could always be counted on to take care of the ones he loved.

Matt fought his third battle with cancer with unwavering optimism and hope. He never missed an opportunity to express his gratitude to the professionals who helped him in this fight and was an inspiration to his family who stood by his side.

He is survived by his wife of seven years, Jessica Stuaan; daughter, Margot Rae Stuaan Price; parents, Tom and Katherine Price; sisters, Elizabeth Price (Chris Bly) and Mary Kay Price (Ian Dinius); in-laws, Mark and Sandy Stuaan; niece, Claire Dinius; and nephew, Teddy Bly.
